MHGA
Inspired by an anonymous piece of street graffiti discovered online, Make Humans Great Again subverted one of the most recognisable political slogans of the modern era. Taking the visual format of political campaign merchandise, the project reverses the iconography of division to champion empathy, connection, and universal decency, turning it into a mainstream statement of shared humanity.

MHGA ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
A campaign about the unruly, imperfect, and irreducible pleasure of being human. Ten individuals wear the same proposition, each altering its meaning through age, expression, identity, and attitude. Direct, diverse, sincere, and a little provocative, the campaign continues David Star’s interest in the ways people present themselves—and in the radical possibility of simply liking everybody.
The MHGA Campaign depicts fictional people created using generative AI.
The images were conceived, art-directed and post-produced by David Star.
